Our goal is to take the guesswork and the mystery out of the process for you. We are always ready to answer any questions you may have about how we can best serve your needs. We hope the following Frequently Asked Questions will help you, and we are always pleased to hear from you at (email address here) or (phone).
Q. Do you produce in the new high definition format? What does that mean to me?
A. Acclaim Media can produce for you in any "flavor" of high definition (HD) that you would like. Standard Definition is 4 x 3, or 16 x 9. The formats are either 720p or 1080i . If this is all as confusing to you as it is for most, not to worry. We assess your use of the products we create for you and recommend a format and definition that will best fit all your intended uses. Due to state of the art equipment and up to the minute knowledge of the industry, we are capable of producing your project in any format. Another way Acclaim provides the very best service and value to you.
Q. I don’t know how to even begin. What do I need to know before I call you?
A. First, you are among the majority. We are here to help you. You can call us with as much or as little information as you have, but in general, if you know when you would like to have a finished product, we can tell you if that is realistic. An idea of your budget is helpful, but we can help you figure out what the parameters are here, as well. If you have in mind what you wish to accomplish with the Video Production, we can take it from there.
Q. What about script writing? Do I need to hire a writer?
A. An Acclaim Media client will experience full service from conceived idea to script writing to the video shoot to post production services. We are a full service operation. We can also work with supplied scripts, as in the case of an Advertising Agency, but we offer full scripting services, too.
Q. I have an old commercial or project that was created a few years ago that just needs updating. I am trying to save money. Can you help me?
A. Many times, the cost to produce a new commercial or project is less than the cost to make changes to an existing commercial. Technologies change so quickly, and the studio time needed to make the changes often exceed the cost of creating a new production. We can assess the individual product and give you quotes on new vs. changes to existing production.
Q. My company wants me to produce a training manual for new employees. Can video help this process?
A. Yes. Many companies now use a DVD to provide employee training, and we have experience in creating DVD’s for many industries. And, the ability to make changes to segments of company information make this an efficient way to provide fresh information. Many find that the interactive ability makes for better learning, also.
